    Hi Ed,

i think you can try to
    1. Open browser and see whether your internet connection setting is usable.
    2. Reboot your phone, then try again. However you will face situation like, waiting long enough to get the email download to your phone. I faced this , so what i did was register a new gmail acc just for my phone(login via Lollipop). In my original gmail acc, i will forward(in gmail setting) every new incoming mail to my new gmail acc. It is working fine now.

    Hope thats helping.

  3. Setting up internet on LG GD580 Lollipop?
I bought the international version of the Lollipop and I was wondering if anyone knows how to set up the internet on this phone. I bought it from a Hong Kong seller and I’m using it in Australia, Sydney. My mobile provider is TPG. Any help is appreciated!!

  4. Hi damistakenme,

My service provider has the configuration stored in my SIM card. hence no action required from me. I would suggest to go to your network service center to check with them.

  7. Hi TingWei,

I’ve been trying to configure my GMail account in my Lollipop and I followed your instructions. But whenever I try to sync my folder, after a few minutes, it pops up a ‘DNS Lookup Failed’ message.

Is there any workaround with this kind of problem?

    Thanks.

    Desi,
“DNS lookup failed” sounds like the address you entered is incorrect or your network not able to connect to googlemail.com . can you surf the web using your phone?

    Frost,
Yeah, use your own email and password 🙂

    Gurlx,
I am glad that the instruction works for you 🙂
